JOEL SADAPHAL

“Big people” is defined as those that impact their environment and not just merely exist in it. Building “big people” is the ministry passion of Pastor Joel Sadaphal. Declaring that “the Kingdom of Father not only comes to lives but is to be transmitted through lives,” Pastor Joel believes that ordinary people can do extraordinary things.
Called by God to ministry upon graduation from college in 1982, he served in several capacities in his local church, Deeper Life Christian Fellowship. Pastor Joel Sadaphal was thereafter ordained in 1989, and installed as the Executive Pastor of that local assembly.

In 1993, Joel founded LIVING WORD and presently serves as its Senior Pastor. He is joined in ministry by his wife MaryAnne and their daughters, Danielle and Stephanie. LIVING WORD is a multi-ethnic, multicultural Christian Church that served Ozone Park, Queens for 30 years and relocated to East Meadow, Long Island in August of 2023.
Pastor Sadaphal has a Kingdom perspective that is coupled with a compelling desire to see city and regional transformation. As a result, he has organized the Queens March for Jesus, served as the Queens Billy Graham Crusade coordinator and Pray New York coordinator. Joel is founder and Executive Director of the KINGDOM PARTNERS NETWORK (KPN). A network of pastors that meet monthly to provide refreshing fellowship and address the needs of local churches through its collaborative efforts.
